Our personal cheque program has been thoughtfully developed to ensure it fully meets the needs of Canadian financial institutions and their clients. As an example, Davis + Henderson was the first company in Canada to ensure its products were compliant with the updated Canadian Payments Association's Standard 006 (Specifications for MICR-Encoded Payment Items, Part A).

Davis + Henderson's newest service - IDefence™ - was developed to assist Canadians address the growing threat of identity theft. Many of our programs include IDefence as a standard feature of a cheque order; with IDefence customers receive:

• A guidebook in their cheque package that provides helpful tips on preventing identity theft
• Access to a 24/7 toll-free assistance hotline for more information on identity theft prevention
• Unlimited telephone access to legal advice and guidance, in the event a customer is victimized
• Free replacement cheques for any accounts compromised as a result of identity theft along with assistance in transferring any preauthorized payments to the new chequing account
